Delivery Models

How to choose the right nearshore partner: A strategic guide

End-to-end delivery

GIGA IT assumes full responsibility for the engineering and operational lifecycle, from architectural definition and modernization to deployment and ongoing production support. This model is built for organizations operating mission-critical systems that require structured governance, executive visibility, and sustained performance beyond initial implementation.

Nearshore vs. Offshore: Which outsourcing model is best for your business?

AI Engineering Teams

We deploy cross-functional engineering teams aligned to your roadmap and performance objectives. These teams operate under governed execution frameworks, integrating software engineering, cloud, data, automation, and AI to deliver high-performance systems with measurable outcomes and long-term continuity.

Why Our Delivery Model Works

GIGA IT´S engagement models are structured around accountability first. We combine architectural oversight, governed execution, and measurable performance frameworks to ensure systems not only launch successfully — but operate reliably over time.

This is not flexible resourcing.
It is a delivery model designed for production environments.

What You Gain Working with GIGA IT

  • Production-grade systems engineered for reliability and scalability
  • Reduced operational risk through structured governance
  • Faster time-to-impact with integrated intelligence
  • SLA-backed continuity across critical operations
  • Long-term system evolution beyond initial deployment

Let’s discuss how

Our delivery process, step by step

  • Discovery. We start with your systems, operations and goals: what has to improve, what cannot break and how success will be measured. The output is a shared understanding of scope, risks and priorities.
  • Architecture and plan. Senior engineers define the target architecture, quality criteria, security requirements and an incremental delivery plan, so value appears early instead of at the end.
  • Governed execution. Teams work in short iterations with demos, code review, automated testing and documentation. Progress is reported against the metrics agreed in discovery, with executive visibility.
  • Production and continuity. Releases are controlled and monitored. After go-live we keep supporting and evolving the system, or transfer knowledge to your team if that is the plan.

What governance means in practice

Governance is not paperwork. It is a small set of rules that keep complex systems stable while teams move fast: architecture decisions are documented and reviewed, code is reviewed before it merges, tests run automatically in every pipeline, and changes to production follow an agreed path.

For every engagement we agree upfront on who decides what, how progress is reported, how risks are escalated and which metrics define success. A GIGA IT lead follows delivery, quality and engagement, and adjusts the team when priorities change. This is how we keep a 97% client retention rate.

AI-augmented engineering

Our engineers work with AI copilots for coding and review, generate and maintain automated tests, and document with the help of language models. On larger teams we add AI agents for QA, documentation and reporting. The result is more output per engineer without lowering the quality bar, always within the security policies and tools your organization approves.

Choosing the right model

  • End-to-end delivery fits when you want one partner accountable for the full lifecycle of a system. See product engineering and platform modernization.
  • AI engineering teams fit when you need a cross-functional team aligned to your roadmap. See hire AI engineers.
  • Staff augmentation fits when your technical leadership is strong and you need more senior capacity. See staff augmentation.

What to expect when we start

  • A discovery session with your technical and business stakeholders.
  • A written proposal with scope, model, team composition and success metrics.
  • Interviews with the engineers who will join, so you approve every person.
  • A kickoff where we agree on rituals, reporting, escalation paths and tools.
  • Regular reviews with a GIGA IT lead who owns delivery quality and continuity.

Security and compliance by design

Mission-critical systems often handle sensitive data and operate under regulatory requirements. We treat security as part of delivery, not a final check: access follows least privilege, secrets are managed outside the code, dependencies are scanned, and environments are separated so production stays protected. When your industry has specific requirements, such as data protection rules or audit trails, we design for them from the architecture phase and document how each requirement is met, so your compliance team can follow the evidence.

Knowledge transfer and continuity

Documentation, architecture decision records and runbooks are part of every delivery. If a team member rotates, overlap and handover protect continuity, and when the plan calls for it, we transfer knowledge so your internal team can operate and evolve the system on its own. Continuity is a commitment, not an afterthought.

Frequently asked questions

Which engagement model should I choose?

It depends on your leadership and goals: end-to-end delivery when you want one accountable partner, AI engineering teams for a cross-functional team on your roadmap, and staff augmentation when you need senior capacity inside your team.

Do you work with our tools and processes?

Yes. Engineers join your repositories, boards and ceremonies, under the architecture and quality rules your team defines.

How do you report progress?

Against the metrics agreed at the start, in regular reviews with your stakeholders and with executive visibility.

What happens after go-live?

We support and evolve the system, or transfer knowledge to your team, depending on the plan agreed.

Who owns the code?

You do, under the intellectual property terms of your agreement.
